Unit Sets for students in Non-IT courses

The Faculty of Information Technology offers a wide choice of unit sets (minors) that can be used to complement your degree studies from other disciplines. These range from general studies in knowledge management, understanding corporate systems and computer game design and development to technical areas such as programming and networking.

For example, if you are enrolled in a business or creative industries degree at QUT, you may like to choose a minor (or some of your electives) from the Faculty of Information Technology.

The IT unit sets have been designed such that introductory units have no prerequisites.

If you wish to submit any suggestions on alternative sets of units, or have any questions on the existing unit sets please email the Faculty.
