Physical Access

Access to the FIT computer laboratories is granted to students that:

• are enrolled in a FIT unit and
• have a valid QUT student ID card.

You will need to wait 24 hours after collecting your student card before your card will appear in the QUT systems. You may then need to wait an additional 24 hours for your FIT access to process. You can view you levels of access through the computer accounts web site at access.qut.edu.au.

Business hours access

Access to S Block at Gardens Point Campus during business hours is from levels 1 (carpark), 2 (carpark), 3 or 4. Business hours are from 8:00am until 10:00pm Monday to Friday. Depending on usage of the facilities security may choose to close the doors on levels 3 & 4 early. If the doors are closed use the After hours access on level 2.

After hours access

After hours access to S block is via the level 2 car park entrance only. This applies from 10:00pm Monday to Friday and after 5:00pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.

To enter or leave S block you will need to swipe your student card through the card reader on entry doors on level 2 and inside the lift. Level 6 is the only floor available to students after hours.
