Q2. Can I place a hold on a book over the Internet or do I have to do that at the library?Yes, you can place an item on hold over the Internet from the QUT Library Catalogue site. All you need is your QUT-Access username and password. Note that students cannot place an item on HOLD from their home campus if that item is in the library. If the item is on loan from their home campus, or held at another campus then a HOLD can be placed. See "Borrowing | Placing a hold" for more information. To place an item on hold:

Q3. How do I print in the library?QUT's new print system uses your Student ID card, which is protected by a 4 digit PIN. This needs to be activated at the QPS Service Centre located in the Main Library of each campus:
The old printing cards are phased out (i.e. no longer in use). You can find all the necessary details here: http://www.qps.qut.edu.au/services/cardsystem/.

Q5. Can I renew a book over the Internet with the Library?Yes, you are allowed two electronic renewal of an item (provided it is not overdue and provided it has not been placed on HOLD).
