Scholarships, Bursaries and Prizes

With the costs of higher education rising each year, QUT is committed to developing partnerships with corporations, government departments, individuals and alumni to provide prizes, bursaries and scholarships for deserving students.

There are many opportunities for organisations to provide financial and other incentives to encourage and reward students at all levels. The Faculty offers a range of scholarships, bursaries and prizes for:

• Undergraduate students
• Honours students
• Postgraduate students
• International students
• Disadvantaged students

Many benefits accrue from sponsoring a student at QUT including access to a highly talented pool of students for work experience, project work and employment as well as increasing your organisation's profile through various marketing activities.

The selection criteria for scholarships, bursaries and prizes can be developed to meet the individual requirements of the donor and may be awarded annually or in perpetuity where an endowment is created.

Continuing Professional Development

The Faculty offers Postgraduate programs including Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters (Coursework), Masters (Research) and Doctoral awards.

QUT also provides non-award programs for continuing professional development covering topics such as Business Process Management, IT Project Management and various courses available through the Cisco Networking Academy..

The Faculty is focusing new course developments on continuing professional education opportunities that match the professionalisation and shift from technology-to-information that has been occurring in industry in recent years.
