Female Merit Scholarships

The scholarships are valued at $12,960 and are available to full-time female students commencing studies in Semester 1, 2008. Eligible courses are:

• IT38 Graduate Diploma in Information Technology
• IT45 Masters of Information Technology
• IT53 Master of Business Process Management
• IT70 Master of Information Management

The Faculty offers two scholarships per year, one for Semester 1 and another for Semester 2.

Selection is based on academic performance (Grade Point Average) in the applicant's undergraduate degree. The minimum requirement for eligibility is a GPA of 5 (on a seven point scale).

This scholarship is available to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

Indigenous Postgraduate Scholarship

The Faculty offers this scholarship valued at $4000 to support an Indigenous student wishing to undertake postgraduate studies in Information Technology commencing Semester 1, 2008. Eligible courses are:

• IT28 Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)
• IT38/IT45 Graduate Diploma/Master of Information Technology (Non-IT Graduates)
• IT35/IT40 Graduate Diploma/Master of Information Technology (IT Graduate)
• IT48 Master of Information Technology (Advanced)
• IT53 Master of Business Process Management
• IT60 Master of Information Technology (Research)
• IT70 Master of Information Management

This scholarship contributes to the cost of the first year of study and will be paid in the form of a study stipend of $2000 at the commencement of each of the two semesters.

IPT Teachers Scholarship

The Faculty offers two scholarships valued at $5000 each to support secondary school teachers/coordinators wishing to further their information technology postgraduate education at QUT.

Eligible courses are:

• IT38 Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (Non-IT graduates)
• IT45 Master of Information Technology (Non-IT Graduate)
• IT53 Master of Business Process Management
• IT70 Master of Information Management
